While Hydration is the ultimate secret to a healthy body, drinking water is good enough to survive but it’s not good enough for hydration. Especially with extreme heat.
Every cell, tissue, and organ requires fluid to perform its function. the skin needs to be hydrated to look fresh. the heart needs the fluid to pump the blood, oxygen, and nutrition to all parts of the body. the liver and kidney need fluid to filter the blood from the poisoning substance and excrete it out of the body. The gut needs fluid to digest the food and prevent constipation. And the brain needs the fluid to control the temperature.
The need for fluid increases when there is a loss of fluid outside the body such as vomiting, diarrhoea, bleeding, and excessive sweating. In these cases, we have to add some minerals or vitamins to replace the loss.
